thank you for this and love the Steiner quotes... my question from a more scientific pov is... have we (as generators of reality) been generating the materialist paradigm and is it time to unplug the engine?

It looks like the engine of materialism is conking out by itself as it hits the Limits To Growth, the existential burnout, the denial of reality. The myth of no myth is being eaten by the other myths. We should gracefully unplug, jump ship before we go down with it, atoning as we go. Humility or Humiliation, as my friend Golden Imp Notorious says. The choice is ours, as I'm sure you understand already.

Atoning as we go - definitely 🦋 - i think part of the trick is for the Ahriman proxies to keep the generators generating their paradigm. de-patterning and de-programming then become fundamental missions for us before we can reliably embark on architecting new paradigms (i was on a call with a legacy Indigenous activist who instructed us that talking about systems and ‘theories of change’ are too ‘small’ in terms of terminologies at this point.

yes, we need to re-connect with the eternal myth, a renewal of the Perennial Philosophy. what blows my mind is that Peter Thiel apparently can recite LOTR off by heart yet doesn't seem to realise that he is Sauron. how can one be in contact with deep mythical material and completely get the wrong idea? or maybe he does know he's Sauron and that's what he wants. it's an open pact with the devil...

By not sure we can jump ship … where to?

We certainly can. There are many worldviews that are not materialist. At The Elevator we're working on a synthesis of Monistic Idealism and the African indigenous Ubuntu tradition, course coming soon!
